Hi everyone!!! I'm in the MTC YAYYA!!! It is so lovely here and the spirit is SO strong! OH and also just let me know if you want to get off this email list, it's not too late to tap out haha but ANYWAY!!! did I already say how much I love it here?! My companion is SISTER BINGHAM (how cool is that) and she is seriously the most awesome sauce person ever. She has been studying Cebuano for 7 months and is soo good at it which is a blessing because she pushes me to study and learn more.
I've only been here for like one second it feels like, but we have learned a lot about our purpose as missionaries and we are already memorizing some Cebuano scriptures and let me just say Cebuano is so cool !!! I am not very good at pronouncing anything but I feel so happy just getting to learn and study more so one day I will be able to share the good news of the gospel in the Philippines!!! Also the Philippines are taking over the MTC there are sooo many people going there and it is so cool that the work is hastening and so many hearts are willing and ready for the Gospel!
We tried the orange juice today and it wasn't bad at all like we drank a couple cups,so I don't know if our immune systems are just unresponsive or if it really is just good orange juice?? We got to go to the temple today and what an amazing experience that was. I love the temple everywhere and to go with so many missionaries was so cool.
When I first arrived on Wednesday and people were only speaking Cebuano I felt like I should have been so stressed and confused and even though I had NO CLUE what was going on or what was being said, I felt so at peace and I know that is because Heavenly Father has heard and answered my prayers for comfort and I FEEL SO SO HAPPY!!!!
We got to read Enos as a district and I love how he prayed all day and all night and wrestled with his past sins, and immediately God said "Enos thy sins are forgiven thee" and he no longer had to feel the guilt or pain he felt before! I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can be forgiven for all of our sin and He will make us whole!!! I really am so grateful I have the chance to share this and even though I feel not super qualified and sometimes I can't even remember how to say words in English I am so happy and I love being here!!!! Thank you for all the prayers and support I feel them oh so much. Have the best week!!!! amping!!!!!
