 This is my new area....BUSAY!  It is mostly jungle and the people live on the sides of the mountains.  We live only about 7 minutes from the Cebu Temple, which is more City, but thus is our area.

Templo Woot Woot

hi guys!!!! sorry it is so late but I GOT TO GO TO THE TEMPLE AND IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOD I LOOOOOVE THAT PLACE AND TESTIFY THE GOSPEL IS SOOOO TRUE AH AS WE SIT IN THE TEMPLE IT JUST REMINDS US THAT THIS SI WHAT IS IMPORTANT IN THE WORLD AND I KEPT THINKING OF YOU AND THE DAY WE WILL ALL GET TO GO TO THE TEMPLE YAYAYA!!!!! SO SOON!!!! but how are you???  Lindsay HOW IS PROVO?!??!!?!?! oh my goodness I love your bedspread and seeing that familiar helaman halls ah I know you are probably so busy living the byu college life but i hope you havev such a good week!!! And classes you are probably already a professional! BABY KAIIII how was his blessing?!?!?!!?!? how was his lavalava??? how were our grandparents??? I am sad i wasnt able to be there but I know it was probably amazing and we had a baby blessing in our ward too!!! how incredible is the plan of god!!! Also how many kilos is he!?!?! MOm dad how are you?!?!?! How is sunny decals?? how is minerettes 4ever!? I love the thigns you sent me about the book of mormon and doing better in our callings doesnt mean being more extravagent or fluffly but giving our all. so many thngs happened woah we tried so hard to talk to people and invite them all because on friday we had a big concert: THE MORPHIS FAMILY htey are from canada and just go around to different places and sing and share the gospel and ah we got to go and listen and it was ooo good!!!!!! you know that song in the barbie movies thats like: together we dream the same dream, you know im here for you you're her efor me" that one? the two sisters sang it and I  just was crying because i love you all my best friends.

ahhhh and it was soo incredible because that man we met the other week brother Junard who dosnt believe in god but HE CAME TO THE CONCERT and it was in english of course but the spriit is real as they sing about Crhist and played the frist vision and everything and it was POWER and our recent convert is in love with the boys in the family so she was so excited to talk to them (jenny rose) and it just reminded me of vactions with you guys becuase they were all just on vaction together and had come from the beach and were sunburt and went to the temple and all that it was so good you can look them up morphis family! 

also we had interviews with President and he is seriously the best and so inspired and was laughing with me as we discussed my transition how its so weird seeing cars and people have desk jobs and dont just have tubo and fish everywhere and it was so strengthening YES

Also BROTHER EMMAN AND BROTHER VEN GOT BAPTIZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS HAS A STORY TO GO WITH IT TO BUT I WILL TELL YOU WHEN I GET HOME BUT I JUST KNOW THAT GOD LOVES US AND ANSWERS PRAYERS AND FASTS AND WANTS US TO BE WORTHY TO MAKE COVENANTS WITH HIM!!!! BUT THEY WERE HAPPY AND SAID THEY ARE CHANGED AND HAVE GREAT FELLOWSHIPPERS ITS GOOD!!!! WE JSUT NEED TO PRAY FOR THEM SOO SO MUCH BECAUSE TEMPTATION IS REAL AND THE WORLD SOMETIMES IS FULL OF IT sorry that shouldnt be in all caps that is scary

we are teaching one family Cabunillas who isnt married but there are 5 of them and they go to church and have met misisonaries so much and like the gospel and havent accepted a time to get married but they wanted to do cfm and we read from that last week about being pure and clean and read the family proclamation and were BOLD like there are bold parts in there about how we will stand accoutable for our following the law of chastity and we were bold in inviting them to be married but they said there are still concerns and they said puhon which means like hopefully later and then when we went there again they asked us if they could still keep their statue from the catholic church in their home even after they get baptized because it is a huge part of who they are and their past which we were not expecting but we are going to teach L1 again and restoration because its been a while and we will all pray that they will understand and any advice i will galady take!

We went to a part of our area with a recent convert and some returning members and its the place with the pictures i sent with the really green and you hike like 20 minutes and use ropes to get to their house and sister arlene she is sooo strong it is just hard to get to church and then there ar e families there with beautiful children the tilakas family that their daughter is 8 and goes to church even if her family cant go her name is China we love them but we felt prompted to read in 3 nephi 13:31-34 and it was so comforting because they were concerned about their clothes and how they could play the plete to get to church but it just speaks such peace to the soul bitaw!!?? love it

also saturday was the baptism of the member in our ward ETHAN QUITOY who we taught in English and I totally met his family when i was in Toledo just for those 3weeks ahhhh so incredible!!! He is so pure and testified how we get baptized to wash away our sins and his mmomo is just a wonder 5 kids and like 12 businesses but she puts the gospel first (MOM HOW DO YOU DO IT ESPECIALLY WHEN WE WERE ALL UNDER THE AGE OF 8 WHATTTTT I AM AMAZED BY YOU) and i feel really close to their family i love them 

nanay dina she has been taught for yearsssss and is just trying to stop coffee and also wants to only commit and covenant if she is actually going to stick to it and not become less active which is a good desire but so incredible because we had a lesson and her son who is a member came and he opened up for the first time about how he knows his mom is ready and can make a covenant and trust in god and it was really bonding for them to be open like that for eachother yaya!

sunday we were talking to the quitoy famiyl and they told us they had a referral and we went and my nose bled everywerhe ahhaha thats an expression when there different languages and i didnt understand because she was tagalog but she has hard a hard life and lots of struggles and wa sso willing to receivve a book of mormon and in her prayer she asked forgiveness for not coming to god sooner in her trials and repented and cried and even in tagalog THE SPIRIT AHHH it was sooo incredible and we are so excited to go back on saturday!!!

also that brother junard we taught him yesterday and it was so intersting!!! even words like prophet or bible like its new ground to him and missionary he was so confused but we were able to talk about god and his questions are good there are  a lot of things i never have thought of because I have always known God is our Heavenly Father but we spent soooo long just talking and invited him to try praying and he was so hesitant and said he couldnt because it would mean nothing if he didnt even have faith in who he was praying to but we felt it that he needed to pray and HE DID IT WAS POWER he prayed and said even if he only had 1% faith he wanted to learn and come closer to him and it was just simple and how incredible like the first time he got to talk to god!!!

also yesterday we discoverd something in our ward and i just know how love and forgiveness are soooooo important and especially as disciples of chrsit we are all examples that show to others what christ is like and thats why we need to remember we are all learning and growing and oding our best and we can make life a  little easier by supporting others. busay is good i am learning so sosososo much everyday and am soooooooooo grateful for you!!!!!!!!!! man homesickeness is real but mostly it just makes me want to eat more rice and pray for you gusy I LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH I HOPE YOU HAVE THE BEST WEEEEK AND DO CFM AND REMEMBER I LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay just some other things we ate at kfc what? so different like rice of course but still

also our water line broke gud so we were shower hopping to different appartments this week haha but i didnt know it was broken the first day so it was my rotation to wake up at 3 am and i just waited for the water to come out forever but it never didi hahahah they are fixing it righ tnow though but we just laugh

i cooked yesterday and it was not that good but sister leoncio ate it anywaya hahhaha shes so nice i even burned her mais

I don't know if I told you but they threw a farewell party in old before i left ahhhh they are the most pure people ever and know how much i love the yellow flowers outside the church and this si the aresgado family i loooooooo ve themmmm
