Cebuano, man it's so cool but so hard for me!! I feel like I am at like a 4 year old level but they had us teach 3 messages for interested people all in Cebuano and without notes and it was definitely hard, but REALLY GOOD because I saw how much I have to learn AND how much help and strength I can receive through Christ!!! He helped the spirit to be there and I felt such a love for these people (even though they were just our teachers acting as interested people).
Halloween was so wonderful because all the new missionaries came and people were passing out candy everywhere! One of the Sister's in my room had her mom send a package with decor so we decorated our room for fall and we put up Christmas lights! But we found out it was against the fire code so we had to take them down haha but people start celebrating Christmas in the Philippines in September so we always sing Christmas hymns and say "It's Christmas in the Philippines!!!!"
I worked at the BYU Bakery last winter and I made the baked goods that got sent to the MTC and this week I ate a muffin just like the ones I made! Good times!!! I was reading in Words of Mormon and I love how King Benjamin "labored with all the might of his body and the faculty of his whole soul." This work is really making me stretch and do things I never thought I could do and it's only possible through Christ!!! This is his work and he will give all of us the strength to do what we thought was impossible in order to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In all, holy cow I love the Philippines and I have never even been there and the work is so good!!! We are always running everywhere because we try to be 5 minutes early to everything so if you ever drive by the MTC and see sisters sprinting down the sidewalk it's probably us haha thank you for all the support and we have tons of pictures so I'll attach a lot this week okay amping!!!! (goodbye in Cebuano sorry I should explain that haha)
