Crazy Busy Chickens

What a week!!!! So there are soo many chickens here and most of the time they are tied up to little poles so they don't run around and I've seen some of them get loose and break the string and start running everywhere and I kind of feel like that has been me this week haha with Sister Hulon leaving and then our area getting split and I have a new companion Sister Luque!!!! She is sooo good and came from Negros and has such good ideas and implementations and is just so good at testifying about the Restoration and ah there is soo much to learn and apply as in. 

On Sunday we were in relief society when someone told us to go downstairs and Lauro Paubsanon was there in his best button down shirt AH we met him a couple of weeks ago and he promised he wanted to try to come to church week after week but this week he actually did and he loved it and felt the spirit so strong!!! 

Then on Monday we were praying so fervently for new people and God's hand is SO in this work. We stopped to help a woman do laba and she let us teach and her sister is actually a less active and the spirit was soo strong in our lesson she started crying and wants to feel close to God and close to her family even if they are far and then we were walking and just randomly stopped at a tindahan and the family just recently lost their dad in an accident and said the missionaries always walk past but never stop but we stopped and got to testify of the Gospel and plan of salvation ah I feel sooo blessed to be here and I loved reading about the life of Christ this week and how His simple acts to love and serve the sinners and those that had been cast out and the lepers.

 I want to serve as He serve and love as He loved and live as He lived and feel so blessed I get to do that here in the Philippines in Balamban ahhh this gospel is sooo true much loove!!!! sister miller
